Well, I guess it all started back in junior high school wood working class.
I found that working with wood is a really cool experience.
Having an opportunity to have someone unlock the endless possibilities of what you could do with a piece of wood.
My teacher gave us several wood working projects during that school year to introduce us to using different kinds of saws, planers, drills and sanders.
It was a really cool and eye opening experience for me. My teacher did not know it but he had planted something in me that school year that would never die ... a desire to create something with my own two hands that I could be proud of.
I love the smell of the wood and I love the creative process of turning a piece of raw material into a finished usable creation.

One day I decided to make a Bed Crown for my wife to put into our bedroom. After finishing it and installing it over our bed I was surprised at how nice it looked.
